I was feeling in need of an adventure. Feeling like there must be more to this life. Feeling like I needed to get some space from everything to get some perspective.

I think most people have these thoughts at some time or other, but for me they became far too overpowering to ignore.

The problem was, however, that I was paralysed by doubt and fear about how I should go about this adventure.

I decided that the best way to make the decisions was to force these by allowing fate to decide.

The dice would be my tool.

It’s better to make any decision, than no decision at all

I rolled the dice for the first time to determine if I should take a break from work. Upon seeing the answer as ‘yes’, I obeyed and started to look into travelling plans.

I rolled the dice a second time to see where I should start my travel, from three different options I had given to the dice.

And so I begin.

This site will chart my journey. The highs and the lows will all be shared.

I will make as many decisions as possible based on fate and this experiment will aim to determine whether a life governed by fate, and forcing decisions to be made, actually opens doors to a more fulfilling life.
